To create a virtual private server in Amazon LightSail is an easy process. I, too, wrote about it earlier. When you are done with the server, you need to tear down not only the virtual machine but also the resources attached to it.
If you see this post Is Amazon Lightsail popular? Who are the target users?, we did not stop with creating a virtual machine. We created a public IP, DNS zone to make site reachable. Sometimes, we might have subscribed to containers, storages, databases also. Hence you need to remove all those related resources one by one.
If you do not remove the related resources, it may incur additional charges. For example, the static IP is free only if it is assigned to an instance. If you delete the instance and you missed to remove the static IP, you would be charged for the same. You will know only when you receive your monthly bill!
Goto Instances. Click on the 3 dots menu of each instance you do not want. Delete them.

Similarly Go to containers. Delete the containers belongs to the service to be dismantled.
Repeat the same for the databases.
Static IP is under Networking. Click the menu and delete the static IP of the service you wish to teardown.

DNS zones of the dead service is no longer required. Delete it to clean up the environment.
