Create histogram metrics at ingest with OpenPipeline

Dynatrace’s OpenPipeline now enables the extraction of histogram metrics from existing spans and logs during ingestion, eliminating the need for manual service re-instrumentation. By preserving the full data distribution instead of relying on simple averages, these metrics allow for more accurate percentile analysis, precise SLO measurement, and enhanced anomaly detection.
