Strengthen your security posture with the Common Configuration Scoring System for misconfigured production environments

Summary

Dynatrace Security Posture Management (SPM) is now using the Common Configuration Scoring System (CCSS) to standardize how misconfiguration severity is assessed. This means misconfigurations will be scored based on exploitability and potential impact, providing a consistent and transparent way to prioritize security risks across different environments and benchmarks. Existing severity labels will be updated in Dynatrace version 1.334, offering a more reliable foundation for managing configuration risk, and the update will happen automatically for SaaS customers in March 2026.
