Data Prepper 2.15 brings Apache Iceberg ingestion and Prometheus metrics support

OpenSearch Data Prepper 2.15 introduces new capabilities for data ingestion and processing. Notably, it now supports ingesting data from Apache Iceberg tables for real-time search and dashboards, and can send metrics to open-source Prometheus instances. Additionally, the release includes a new Prometheus source for receiving metrics and improved functionality for composing custom expressions within pipelines, alongside performance improvements and new features like S3 encryption support.
