Google’s Agentic Data Cloud extends AI data management

At Google Cloud Next, Google unveiled its "Agentic Data Cloud," a platform designed to transition AI from a reactive "system of intelligence" to a proactive "system of action" that can execute tasks on a business's behalf. A central feature is the new Knowledge Catalog, which provides AI agents with the essential business context required to operate across multiple cloud environments. However, the widespread adoption of these autonomous agents remains dependent on overcoming significant industry-wide challenges regarding trust and security.
