Private Incidents now in general availability: convert incidents to private, private runbooks, and more

FireHydrant has launched “Private Incidents” generally available, allowing teams to restrict access to sensitive incident details in both Slack and within the FireHydrant platform. This feature enables converting public incidents to private, creating dedicated private Slack channels, and utilizing “Private Runbooks” – processes designed for handling sensitive issues without accidental public exposure of data. These updates aim to balance open incident reporting with the need for secure handling of confidential information during high-risk situations.
