SRE for EUC: Endpoint Reliability as the “Last Mile” of Site Resilience

While Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) has successfully optimized backend infrastructures, the endpoint device remains a critical "last mile" vulnerability that can nullify the benefits of high-availability services. To bridge this gap, the author proposes "Endpoint Reliability Engineering" (ERE), which applies SRE’s rigorous, automated, and data-driven methodologies to the endpoint fleet. This approach seeks to replace subjective user sentiment with measurable, actionable telemetry to ensure true end-to-end digital resilience and productivity.
