What Is Goal-Oriented AI for IT Teams?

Goal-oriented AI shifts IT operations from directing individual, isolated tasks to defining desired outcomes within established guardrails. By leveraging agentic capabilities, AI can plan, execute, and adapt its actions based on continuous feedback to ensure a specific operational result is achieved. This transition allows IT professionals to move from being manual operators to high-level orchestrators who manage outcomes rather than every individual step.
